To commemorate World Menstrual Hygiene Day, Naza Agape Foundation partnered with Jos University Medical Students Association (JUMSA) for an impactful event at Government Secondary School, Nassarawa Gwong in Jos.
We discussed the importance of menstrual hygiene, types of menstrual products, personal hygiene practices, and managing discomfort.
Over 300 girls, a few boys, and teachers were positively impacted by the informative sessions. Additionally, we distributed free sanitary pads, medicated soaps, and other hygiene products to the students.
Our heartfelt thanks to JUMSA, the school’s Principal, staff, students, and all contributors. Special appreciation to our speakers and regional coordinators for their invaluable support. Your efforts made this event a success, spreading awareness and education on menstrual hygiene.
Finally, Over 10 copies of our founders book titled “Victory At Last, How I Overcame Low Self-esteem” was donated to the students for Free.
