The IDP Project by the Naza Agape Foundation is an initiative aimed at supporting internally displaced persons in Jos Plateau State, Nigeria.
Our primary goal is to alleviate the suffering and hardships faced by these individuals, ensuring their basic needs for shelter, food, water, healthcare, and education are met.
We are currently facing critical challenges in meeting the diverse needs of IDPs, and we are reaching out to you to support us.
Here’s how you can support us in these three stages
A. Immediate relief support by donating clothes, foodstuffs, toiletries and other supplies to help the IDPs
B. Educational empowerment by providing support for school fees and school supplies for IDP children to be integrated back into school
C. Empowerment program to support widowed and single mothers to cater for their families by setting up business and giving them the required skills.
We kindly invite you to explore potential avenues for collaboration, whether through financial contributions, in-kind donations, or joint initiatives that align with our shared commitment to serving displaced communities. Your support will not only transform lives but also contribute to building a stronger, more resilient society. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of internally displaced persons and work towards a brighter future for those in need.
With this initiative, we aim to make a significant impact on the lives of internally displaced persons. We understand the urgency and importance of our cause, and we are determined to bring about positive change in the lives of those affected by displacement
Mission
This initiative is rooted in the belief that addressing the mental mission is to bring about lasting positive change by providing trauma-focused interventions, empowering individuals with skills, providing them with basic needs, fostering community cohesion, and advocating for positive transformations.
Goals:
1. Mental Health Empowerment: Increase awareness and understanding of trauma among IDPs, providing them with the skills and coping mechanisms to manage the psychological challenges they face.
2. Community Building: Establish strong social support networks within displaced communities, fostering unity, and mutual support.
3. Empowerment Through Skills: Equip IDPs with practical skills through initiatives like Ubuntu Healing Circles, Naza EmpowerMend, and Naza Agape Femme Hub, promoting self-sufficiency and personal development.
4. Long-Term Sustainability:Implement strategies for long-term resilience, ensuring that the positive impact extends beyond the duration of the program.
5. Basic Needs: providing basic needs, food clothing, shelter, education, water and sanitation and a proper health care system
We are actively seeking strategic partnerships and support to further our mission and impact. Understanding the importance of alignment in values and goals, we believe that a conversation with you could provide valuable insights into potential collaboration opportunities

KURA BEROM VISIT
In June 2018, the indigenes of Gashish district were attacked by unknown Fulani Herdsmen which took the lives of close to 150 persons. This left many children as orphans, married women becoming widows, married men losing their wives, and the death of nursing mothers, pregnant women and the elderly. The people of Gashish district are majorly farmers and as a result of the insurgency, they lost their means of livelihood. Their farmlands were ceased by the herdsmen, their houses were burnt, some destroyed, and their farm produce were stolen others were eaten by the herdsmen and their cattle. Everyday these people constantly live in fear of the herdsmen. Few months back, they herdsmen attacked again, killed some people while some were injured.
