To celebrate this year’s Children’s Day, the foundation organized different events across its various branches in Nigeria. In Jos, the celebrations were carried out through weekly engaging activities.
Our partners, from the Smile Republik, selected five children under the Foundation’s care to give them a wonderful Children’s Day experience.
During Week 1, the children were given special gift packages, such as new customized bags and school items.
In Week 2, their school fees were paid. In Week 3, the children were taken out for a fantastic outing, where they got to play fun games and were treated to delicious meals.
In Week 4, the children were asked to request what they wanted, and our partner, Smile Republik, was able to meet their needs.
In addition to the weekly activities, there was a general Children’s Day celebration in Jos, where a small party was thrown for all the children in the foundation. Gifts were shared, and there were lots of games, music, dancing, and an atmosphere filled with joy and laughter.
