As part of our unwavering commitment to bridging educational gaps and supporting underprivileged students, the Naza Agape Foundation Teach Project recently carried out an impactful outreach at Isolo High School and Conscience High School in Isolo, Lagos.
Our team visited these schools, engaging with students who are eager to learn but often lack the resources they need to excel. These schools cater to children from diverse backgrounds, many of whom struggle with limited access to essential academic materials. Seeing the need firsthand reaffirmed our mission: to ensure that no child is left behind in their pursuit of education.
Providing Essential Learning Materials
One of the highlights of our visit was the distribution of mathematical sets and textbooks to students who had none. It was both heartwarming and concerning to realize that many of these students lacked personal textbooks—resources that are often taken for granted. Knowing that many families have these books sitting idle at home made the act of donating them even more meaningful.
Equipping these young learners with the right tools is a small but powerful step toward ensuring that they can fully participate in their education. A simple textbook can open a world of knowledge, and a mathematical set can give a student the confidence to engage in learning without feeling left behind.
Learning Through Fun and Engagement
To make the experience even more interactive, we organized trivia games for the students. These fun, educational activities not only encouraged participation but also provided an opportunity for students to win textbooks and math sets. The excitement and joy on their faces when they answered correctly and received their rewards were priceless moments that reaffirmed the impact of our work.
Beyond the material donations, this initiative was also about inspiring students to believe in themselves. Education is more than just books and numbers—it’s about nurturing self-confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
