In commemoration of International Women’s Day, Naza Agape Foundation, in collaboration with Nigeria Youth Parliament, reached out to the girls at Government Secondary School Chewlnyap, in Plateau state, Nigeria. We educated about 100 girls on the importance of celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD2022). The theme for 2022 IWD was “Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow.”
We also gave some points on feminine hygiene and menstrual health and handed out free pads to 35 girls. The girls were taught how to use and dispose of these pads.
