Prayer Nwagboso is the founder and Chief Executive officer (CEO) of Naza Agape Foundation (NAF). She started Naza Agape foundation at age 23 and since then it has grown from one level 0f grace to another higher level. Prayer, is an Experienced Humanitarian Aid worker with about 3years of experience, leading a team of about 400 volunteers across the globe (Pakistan, Ghana, India, Cameroon, Zambia, Cyprus and Nigeria) that daily provide solutions to three (3) out of the 17 unsdgs (Goal 1 No poverty, Goal 2 Zero Hunger, Goal 4 Quality education). She is A Global Goodwill Ambassador and Amazons of Arewa Ambassador.
Through her leadership, Naza Agape foundation was Awarded as Best Use of Media, Charity/Non-Profit Campaign for the year 2020In Plateau State; Winner of 2019 Enabling NGOs for Success by Union Bank and Winner of Union Rise Challenge 2020 by Union Bank. Impact about 3,000 lives across the globe with about 80 less privileged receiving free education in Pakistan daily.
Naza Agape foundation has been able to partner with more than 20 organizations to see that the less privileged are back to school and fed adequately. Under NAF’s scholarship scheme over 300 less privileged have been sent back to school with school fees, writing materials, Uniforms, books and other essentials. In October 2019, NAF partnered with UNESCO and SAP to train 1065 young girls, 75 teachers on coding and on computer literacy in Abuja. December 2019 NAF embarked on a “Project Feed 5000” cut across Lagos, Abuja and Jos. 1,150 persons were fed during the first edition of the campaign. In 2020 under project feed 5000 campaign, we fed about 3,000 less privileged from January to December.
Prayer Nwagboso is a graduate of Mass Communication from Covenant University (CU). During her stay in CU, she occupied three leadership positions all through her stay in Covenant. As the welfare secretary, she initiated a fund raising campaign tagged I-RESPOND. The campaign was birthed out of a deep desire and passion in not only seeing that the school fees of Covenant University students are provided for, but that they also return to school. They helped over 30 students complete their fees and gave them stipends monthly. From the platform of Covenant University Disease and Prevention Unit, she volunteered in organizing health campaign e.g. Breast cancer awareness, Prostrate cancer awareness, World Health day, etc.
As Vice-Chair Female, she organized a conference tagged: Proverbs 31 Woman Conference, geared at raising women of virtue. She invited personalities like TY Bello, Kemi Onabanjo, Laju Iren and Joys Oyedepo. The conference led to the discovery of purpose and career paths for many ladies.
She is passionate about community service. Her desire is to see that no child is denied access to quality education because of monetary issues. Her Global goal is to establish 1,000 Tuition free schools in Africa by 2035.
